APImel
It has been produced since 1990 and it is destined for bee feeding during winter. APImel has become well-known in Europe along the way. Due to its well-studied composition, APImel supplies bees with monosaccharides (i.e. glucose and fructose). As a result, bees do not need to consume extra energy and nutrients to convert disaccharides to monosaccharides. APImel contains 15% humidity similar to honey. Τherefore, bees do not need to search for the essential water out of their beehive during winter months.
